Refund Policy
MSINFO Services' policies on refunds, cancellations, and engagement modifications.
This Refund Policy governs requests for refunds, credits, and cancellations for services provided by MSINFO Services. Given the professional and bespoke nature of our cybersecurity and digital transformation services, our refund terms are structured to reflect the effort and resources invested in each engagement.
Proof of Value Commitments
Our unique Proof of Value (POV) model ties payment to measurable outcomes agreed upon at engagement commencement. Where agreed outcomes are not met due to MSINFO Services' failure to deliver, appropriate remedies — including credits, additional services, or partial refunds — will be considered.
Professional Services Nature
Cybersecurity services such as penetration testing, gap assessments, and compliance audits involve significant human effort and expertise. Once work has commenced, fees for work already performed are non-refundable, as they represent professional time and resources already invested.
Case-by-Case Review
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our engagement management team. We are committed to fair and transparent resolution of all disputes in line with our client-first values.
Service Not Commenced
If you cancel an engagement before any work has commenced (i.e., prior to a kickoff meeting, system access, or delivery of any documents), you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment, less any administrative or processing fees incurred.
Material Failure to Deliver
If MSINFO Services materially fails to deliver services as defined in the Statement of Work, and fails to remedy the situation within 14 days of written notice, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for undelivered portions of the engagement.
Duplicate Payments
In the event of a billing error resulting in duplicate or erroneous charges, MSINFO Services will issue a full refund of the incorrectly charged amount within 7 business days of confirmed verification.
Work Already Performed
Fees for work already performed — including completed assessments, delivered reports, conducted training sessions, or implemented configurations — are non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Change of Business Priorities
Refunds will not be issued where an engagement is cancelled due to a change in your internal business priorities, budget constraints, personnel changes, or strategic direction unrelated to MSINFO Services' delivery.
Non-Cooperation or Delayed Access
If delays or inability to deliver services arise due to your failure to provide timely access, information, or cooperation, fees for time allocated and held will not be refunded.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email contact@msinfoservices.in with the subject line 'Refund Request', including your engagement details, invoice number, reason for the request, and any supporting documentation.
Review Timeline
Our engagement management team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and complete the review within 14 business days. We may request additional information or a discussion call to understand the situation fully.
Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. For bank transfers, timings may vary based on your financial institution. GST components will be handled in compliance with applicable tax laws.
Cancellation Notice
To cancel an ongoing engagement, provide written notice to contact@msinfoservices.in at least 30 days in advance, or as specified in your Statement of Work. Early termination fees may apply as defined in your MSA.
Subscription or Retainer Services
For monthly retainer or subscription-based services (e.g., ongoing advisory, ongoing compliance monitoring), cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial months.
Force Majeure
In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond either party's reasonable control (force majeure), both parties will negotiate in good faith to arrive at an equitable resolution, which may include rescheduling, credits, or partial refunds.
